The Carrington Hotel
Built in 1882, The Carrington Hotel is a unique heritage property, steeped in history and the elegance of a bygone era. this Grand Old Lady soon became a popular mountain retreat for international visitors, the elite of Sydney and those eager to see the natural wonders of the Blue Mountains.
Centrally located on Katoomba’s main street, it is flanked by restaurants, cafes, galleries and specialty shops.
Hosting 64 accommodation rooms of different styles, Champagne Charlie’s Cocktail Bar, the Grand Dining Room, the Award winning Old City Bank Brasserie and the Carrington Cellars & Deli.
The Grand Dining Room
The Carrington’s Reputation for timeless elegance is perhaps best reflected in
the appropriately named Grand Dining Room. Soaring columns, vaulted
ceilings and magnificent chandeliers set the scene for a wedding to
remember. This is The Carrington’s largest venue, seating up to 140 guest
including the wedding party.
The Ballroom
The Ballroom is flooded with natural light and has a discrete access to the
Internal Veranda and Piazza. Elegant chandeliers and a small stage make this
mid-sized reception venue a popular choice. The Ballroom can seat a
maximum of 80 guests includes the wedding party.
The Library
For smaller weddings, The Library offers a more intimate venue. Warmly
panelled in wood and with an open fireplace for cooler weather.
The verandah is a perfect place for your wedding photos!
