Gunners Barracks sits in a beautiful secret location overlooking Georges Head and Chowder Bay. Built in 1873, Gunners Barracks is a gorgeous sandstone building initially used by the Officers of the Mess.

It has an unexpected old world charm with stunning interiors and amazing views across to the eastern side of the harbour. It is totally captivating as you sit within the walls of this intimate setting surrounded by bush and breathtaking views.

You will be delighted by three fabulous ceremony locations, either the main courtyard, the harbour terrace, where you can also enjoy drinks and canapes, and a grass knoll below the building.

The main dining room includes gorgeous wallpapers, curtains and Waterford crystal chandeliers!

The Harbour terrace, fitted with a heated, retractable roofing system, allows the area to be used all year round. It provides family and friends with a very special area to enjoy uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbour while drinks and canapes are served prior to your reception. The main dining room vaunts a soft, light colour palette and modern, updated design features including custom designed carpets, wallpaper and curtains, offset with stunning Waterford crystal chandeliers.

Another unique feature is the opportunity to set your dance floor outside in the sandstone courtyard beneath a fairy light canopy and twinkling stars.
